Man Puts His Wife On Auction (eBay)

Paul Osborn, from Bletchley UK, decided to put his wife Sharon, for sale on an eBay auction. In his advert he gives us the reason for doing so:

Here is my lying, cheating, adulterous whore of a wife of 26 years

The bid started a £0.01 and after hundreds of bids it ended up to £750,000, until he decided to close the auction. He also included a picture of his wife picking her nose! There are no news from the mother-of-two’s side, but we can expect at least a law suit after such advert.

My question is why there were so many bids? If what Paul claims is true then who would want her?

Lunar Legacy: Send Your Picture to the Moon

In 1972 Charles Duke during his trip to the moon left behind a picture of him and his family. Today, after 36 years, the photograph remains intact for the generations to come.

Today the X-Prize foundation, Google and the “Lunar Legacy” program, give us the possibility for anyone to send his photos on the moon for only $10.

funny-dogThis time our photos will be all put into a DVD (or more if that is what it takes). Although in the pas there have been moon missions where a range of multimedia has been left behind, this is the first time that Internet users will have the chance to send something of theirs.

Till now there are about 500 photos gathered for the next moon trip.

I wonder who will be the one to see the DVD over there? I don’t think the aliens are so advance, they are probably still using VHS.

Anyway if you have $10 to spare give them as its for a good cause; the funding of space exploration.

Want to go to Mercury?

On Monday NASA’s Messenger will approach Mercury in order to explore its surface and send over 2,000 photos back to earth. Last time thats something similar happened it was 34 years ago (how did they manage that back then?) when NASA’s Mariner 10 passed by that neighborhood and gave us the picture above.

I am certain that when these images arrive back to Earth, we are going to hear again a lot of conspiracy theories about secret caves, underground civilizations and giant squids. The first aim of this mission is to get Messenger in orbit around Mercury by 2011!

The most recent event of alien conspiracy that mankind discovered was this hole on Mars surface which was said to be the route to its secret underground civilization.

In the end this was proved to be nothing more than a small cavity with an odd shadow when the photograph was taken.
