No Birthday Invitation Led To Swedish Parliament Complain

Lund, Sweden, an eight year old boy decided to invite his classmates to his birthday party, all except two. When the school teacher noticed this she confiscated all the invitations on grounds that not inviting these two kids is an act of discrimination. The boys father reacted by filing a complaint to his local parliament minister and stated to theĀ  local newspaper Sydsvenskan that:

No one has the right to confiscate someone’s property in this way, it’s like taking someone’s post

and he also added that there was no discriminating intent in his son’s action. The matter is scheduled to be addressed in September.
