February 17th, time 03:33, and earthquake with a 4.4 magnitude hit in north Athens in the area of Fili, near mount Parnitha. This is not a large earthquake and people hardly realized it but considering the repeated seismic activity of the last 2 months in the Greek area (see previous 1, 2, 3). Again I wonder how ready are the big cities, not only in Greece, but also for the rest of the world. How many of us have checked our houses and ensured it follows the basic (modern) building standards. The biggest issue thought is how many of us know what to do in a case of an earthquake?
