Its called Seam Carving and it is an algorithm for image processing, developed by Shai Avidan and Ariel Shamir. The basic function of this algorithm is the adaptive dimension change of the image. With this algorithm someone can do a lot of things such as to remove an object from the picture (see picture above). [...]
