No Birthday Invitation Led To Swedish Parliament Complain

Lund, Sweden, an eight year old boy decided to invite his classmates to his birthday party, all except two. When the school teacher noticed this she confiscated all the invitations on grounds that not inviting these two kids is an act of discrimination. The boys father reacted by filing a complaint to his local parliament minister and stated to the local newspaper Sydsvenskan that:
No one has the right to confiscate someone’s property in this way, it’s like taking someone’s post
and he also added that there was no discriminating intent in his son’s action. The matter is scheduled to be addressed in September.

Belgium Coke & Mentos Event For The Guinness Book

In an earlier article, here in Weberence, we showed you what will happen if you throw a Mentos mint inside a Coca Cola bottle. It seems that pupils in the local schools in the town of Leuven, Belgium, wanted to find out if it really works. So about 1500 pupils gathered around in Ladeuzeplein square wore their rain coats and took part in the biggest Coke & Mentos event and probably earned a place in the Guinness book.
The out come was quite impressive as it can be seen the video below![]()

Scarlett Johansson Auctions Herself In Ebay!

Scarlett Johansson is an actress with a consciousness. In 2007 she went with Oxfam America to Sri Lanka in India to meet families that were struck by the tsunami and girls that had difficulties going to school.
Again, together with Oxfam, she auctions herself in Ebay and uses as an excuse to do so her new movie “He?s Just Not That Into You” where she stars with Ben Affleck and Jennifer Aniston.
The lucky winner that will win the auction will be treated with two tickets for the premier, limo to transfer him/her, make up and styling from top experts and of course a chance to meet Scarlett up close.
If you are interested, let me tell you that at this moment there are already 134 bids and the price is well above $30,000 which is quite amazing considering that the auction is not near its end. If you are interested do not forget that you need to pay for your airfare to America. See the auction video:
Boomerang and Space Underware

Takao Doi will probably enter the history books as the astronaut with the weirdest missions. His first mission was to throw a boomerang in space to see what will happen. His second mission was to try a special underwear made with a high tech fabric that is expected to provide better protection and hygiene for astronauts. The same fabric is used to make his socks and uniform. I hope that scientists have done a good job otherwise I feel sorry for those that will welcome Takao after his 2 week break from bathing while in space.
Hmm, I just remembered my classmates from school that wanted to become astronauts when they grew up. If only they knew!
See a video with Takao.
