A strange story has started from a picture found in Google Maps. Street View, a function of Google Maps, shows pictures taken from a specialised road vehicle with the intention to show us how the real street/area looks like. This can become the nightmare of all criminals.

The photograph above shows some sort of money transaction taking place and many speculate that this is a drug selling. Nevertheless Google has decided to take down this photo.

I am curious to find out why Google was forced to do so. Was there a reaction from the guy in the photo or were they afraid that there might be one?. Its not easy to have your picture posted online and everybody to assume that you are dealing drugs :)

In 1972 Charles Duke during his trip to the moon left behind a picture of him and his family. Today, after 36 years, the photograph remains intact for the generations to come.

Today the X-Prize foundation, Google and the “Lunar Legacy” program, give us the possibility for anyone to send his photos on the moon for only $10.

funny-dogThis time our photos will be all put into a DVD (or more if that is what it takes). Although in the pas there have been moon missions where a range of multimedia has been left behind, this is the first time that Internet users will have the chance to send something of theirs.

Till now there are about 500 photos gathered for the next moon trip.

I wonder who will be the one to see the DVD over there? I don’t think the aliens are so advance, they are probably still using VHS.

Anyway if you have $10 to spare give them as its for a good cause; the funding of space exploration.
