I have to admit that i am a 3D fan, i like 3D displays, holograms, etc but I am pretty sure that I can’t afford one, or better i couldn’t.

A 3D display interactive system by the Graphics Lab of the University of Southern California i said to be low cost and easiy reproducible. Above all these, this system is impressive, as almost every other 3D display.

Some characteristics of the systems are :

autostereoscopic - requires no special viewing glasses
omnidirectional - generates simultaneous views accomodating large numbers of viewers
interactive - can update content at 200Hz

Well, this one requires a video. Here it is :)

In a few days the new Sony Pictures movie “Water horse - Legend of the Deep” will show in cinemas. The hero is said to have as his friend the Loch Ness monster. So the Japanese thought that such a movie needs an equal promotion.

A huge monster hologram made its appearance in Tokyo. I am not sure how long this promotion will continue as it looks pretty expensive.
