On Monday NASA’s Messenger will approach Mercury in order to explore its surface and send over 2,000 photos back to earth. Last time thats something similar happened it was 34 years ago (how did they manage that back then?) when NASA’s Mariner 10 passed by that neighborhood and gave us the picture above.
