Ashley Alexandra Dupre, is the most talked about person in America these days due to her involvement with the government of New York, Eliot Spitzer and an escort services network.

Ashleu (or Kristen - her aliases) decided to take advantage of her publicity and at the same time fulfills her dreams which is to have a career in singing. So she uploaded on the independent music store Amie Street 2 songs. One of them is called ?What we want? and the other ?Move ya Body?, and she sells them for 98 cents each.

Till now she has sold 300,000 mostly by Americans and do not be surprised if you see her in the Grammy next year.

Cruel, Uncivilised, And Inhuman Soldiers

What can you say about this video? Its not enough that they have slaughtered thousands if not millions of civilians around the world, and especially in Iraq, it seems that they have now decided to be cruel to animals too.

I am not going to go through the effort to blame the government or the military generals, who where also shocked to see this video.

A race has begun (from the government) to disappear this video and already in Youtube all “copies” have vanished. I will post it here even though it is sick, maybe it will wake up people’s minds.

Nevertheless I do not recommend you to see the video it will definitely ruin your day.

Earthquake Prediction Techniques for Greece and the World

February 15, 2008 · Filed Under Living, News · Comment

Greece has been shaking up recently by earthquake after earthquake. Yesterday the 4th earthquake within 1.5 months (see previous 1, 2, 3), of a 6.5 magnitude had an epicenter south of the city of Kalamata.

This seismic activity has been scientifically predicted by the V.A.N team of Professor P. A. Varotsos of the University of Athens, Greece. Unfortunately the Greek governments (past and present) tend to dismiss scientific evidence. Maybe this is because government officials are using other, more accurate and alternative techniques. So I made a search to find such alternative techniques that may not be explained by science.

Sun, oh glorious sun!

This first case managed to predict the latest Greek earthquake 6 days earlier! They used a method unheard before that predicted the 6.5 magnitude earthquake. This method does not require expensive equipment, only a roof, a digital watch and as much sunshine as possible. What is being observed? Any slight change in earths orbit during its rotation is caused by lava and tectonic plate movement. Based on this theory many amateur earthquake observers try to calculate these orbit changes by looking at the position of the sun and hence try to locate the earthquakes epicenter.

Snakes

Chinese researchers of the Nanning seismologic center discovered that the snake behavior up to five days before an earthquake tends to be a bit bizarre. Specifically there are cases where snakes started to hit on walls in an attempt to escape earthquakes that might have been up to 120 km away. It is well known that animals do have an acute sense of things and especially vibrations. It was found that snakes even during the winter (snakes sleep during winter) they wake up and leave the nest when they felt an incoming earthquake. Hence a 24 hour camera surveillance system was set up to monitor the snake reactions hoping to become an accurate earthquake prediction technique.

Charlotte King - Biological predictions (!)

On the 18th of May 1980 a woman notified experts that something was not right. Within 12 minutes the volcano of St. Helena in Washington state, US, erupted. What happened next?c-king As with all things American she ended up in numerous shows and also became the study of many expert doctors and the US military. All of them were amazed to find that Charlotte since 1976 had started to be able to listen to ULF, VLF and ELF frequencies. In total 4 US states studies this phenomenon called Charlotte. This was not the first time that Charlotte predicted an earthquake but since then her name got major publicity. So now she continues her work and according to her between the dozens of earthquakes that she predicted we can find even the one that devastated Athens in 1999. She even has a blog in which she presents her worries about global earthquake prediction.

Cigarette? Try Marlboro Intence!

The tobacco industries are starting to get nervous an worried with all the measures against smoking. Ban here ban there, so no time to enjoy smoking. So Philip Morris thought of making a cigarette which is smaller hence faster to finish. This does not mean that you get less nicotine. Oh no, even though the cigarettes became 7.2 cm in length compared to the normal 8.5, they pack the same amounts of the addictive substance. For starters this product is only available in Turkey. My question is if a person smokes 10 cigarettes per day and he smokes 10 small ones will he say “OK, I got my daily dose of nicotine” or will he say “ah they are smaller so let me do 5 more”?

Complain Blogs for Public Services

Every day about 2,000,000 people go through the airport security services in America. All those that have been in and out of the US know that courtesy, discretion, and sense of humor are not important for all those civil service people that try to ensure we have a safe flight.

Thus, thousands of people complain for how things work in airports. This was the reason why some people, in the government, decided to create a Blog in which they will log all complaints. Till today they have received a flood of complaints!

I wonder how possible it is to create such blog in other countries, like Greece, where the red tape and bureaucracy are a daily occurrence? :)

US Spy Satellite Will Fall On Our Head In March

January 28, 2008 · Filed Under Living, Technology · Comment

I read in BBC that a large American spy satellite (the size of a small bus) has gone out of orbit and around February - March it will fall on our head.

From time to time various satellites fall on earth but its controlled. Scientists will try to prevent all possible damage and loss of life. There are many speculations that this satellite will be shot down by missiles if it is deemed necessary.

The American authorities are notified as well as countries that are more likely to be in a danger zone.

The biggest problems seems to be the satellites fuel which is toxic and it will cause serious damage to whom ever gets too close.

So, if you hear a loud bang in your back yard, you will know in advance what it is :)
