Everybody you do amazing things with your mobile and now it is time to show the world. Google calls for video submission of mobile tricks on youtube. Make a video clip of your wackiest, coolest or most useful mobile trick and submit it to this page.

The process is simple, you only have to embed in your video the intro and final slides. You have to start and end your clip with these frames to submit your video. After that you just have to upload the video to your Youtube account and submit it though the mobile tricks page

What are you getting for that? If they like your video you have a chance to be presented on their playlist. Maybe it is time for google to start thinking for other, more charming ways to honor their submitters. What about a Wii pack? :)

Did you ever had this dream as a child, to be a king, and emperor or a president of an entire country? Well now is your chance.

A group of ultra rich millionaires have come up with a way to rule your own country, even if its the smallest one on earth. Peter Thiel (Paypal), Wayne Gramlich (Sun Microsystems) executive and Milton Friedman (Google) are behind this ambitious scheme of creating mini and independent nations floating on international waters.

These “nations” will be based on old oil rig platforms and would be big enough to fit a family.

To achieve this they formed the Seasteading Institute, and examine the impact of such communities.

Rahul Krishnakumar Vaid from Gurgaon, Haryana (Pune, India), was arrested today for creating an Orkut community named ?I hate Sonia Gandhi? and posting derogatory content about Congress chief Sonia Gandhi and Mahatma Gandhi

He was arrested not for hating Sonia Gandhi, as this falls under the category of personal opinion which is not an offence, but for creating an online profile and then posting content with vulgar language about her. This apparently is covered by section 292 of Indian Penal Code and section 67 of the Information Technology Act.

Although India is a country of free speech, it seems that for certain “important” individuals such Sonia Gandhi, any negative talk can lead in trouble.

The complain against the forum editor was logged by Amol Bhokare, a Congress activist in December 2007.

Pune police approached Orkut (Google) and found out details of who formed this forum and circulated the vulgar messages.

Vaid will remain in custody till May 21 and if he is found guilty he is eligible for up to to five years in imprisonment and a fine up to 100,000 Rs (1 Lakh).

Everybody is shocked by the new coming from Myanmar. I am reading about 22,000 dead and 41,000 missing. This is a huge disaster that everyone should answer to.

Google raises a hand in the global effort to calm the effects of this catastrophe. There is already a “Support disaster relief in Myanmar” page with google checkout options to support Unicef or Direct Relief International.

Everyone should Join the efforts mobilizing around the world to assist cyclone victims in Myanmar. We must help them rebuild their communities, and their lives.

Google has also created a KLM file to track the path of Cyclone Nagris, see here
