The mini pigs are the new trend in pet owning. Chriss Murray from England, decided to breed this rare part of the pig family, that is characterised by the small size.

Chris thinks that these little pigs are ideal to children. If you want to buy a mini pig you will have to wait about 2 years as the demand for them is that big. He recommends us to buy them at a pair so they will not feel lonely :)

 

5.2 Magnitude Earthquake Hits The UK

On the 27th of February, at 00:56 (GMT) an earthquake of a 5.2 magnitude hit 46 km South of Kingston upon hull according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre. The exact epicenter was near Market Rasen in Lincolnshire. This comes as a surprise as it has been 25 years since the last big earthquake in the region. Some structural damages and cracks and injuries that occurred from fallen objects were reported. The earthquake was felt across north England and North Wales.

This month’s mission? Lower the temperature of your boiler and use your own body heat to get warm :)

St. Valentine’s Pig

Two whole days before the big day and the St. Valentine’s craze is hitting people in the head. Ten days ago a little pig was born in Newent, England, and it is already a big star! The reason? The little piggy was born with a black patch, shaped like a heart, on his left back leg!

The Singing Ringing Tree

What you see above is one of the four creations of the Panoptions Project. Its purpose is to design 4 sculptures, art works, that symbolize the regeneration of the area of east Lancashire (England). The designers behind this are Mike Tonkin and Anna Liu. Its name is ?The Singing Ringing Tree?. A few months ago it won the National Award of the Royal Institute of British Architects.
