Cow-Fart Storing Tank To Stop Greenhouse Gases
The fart mostly consists of a gas called Methane, which happens to be 23 times easier to trap heat in the atmosphere than carbon dioxide. One of the most fart producing living beings on this planet is the cow, which produces 800-1,000 litres of gas every day! Considering that Argentina alone has 55 million cows grazing its lands then we are talking about a lot of emissions.
The solution to this comes from an Argentinean researcher, Guillermo Berra from the National Institute of Agricultural Technology. He came up with a plastic tank strapped on the cows back with a hose pipe up the cows rear, that collects the farts. Not sure where this gas will end up, perhaps at a Methane-burning electricity generating plant, but I sure hope they keep this idea away from humans.

Rubber Snake Generates Electricity From Waves

Renewable energy systems are currently in the hot spot as we try to end our addiction on oil. Scientists around the world try their best not only to improve existing systems but also to introduce us with their novel concepts. Engineers at Southampton University created a giant rubber snake that produces electricity from the passing wave pressure. The full scale of this Electricity producing Anaconda will be 200 meter long and 7 across and will reside between 40-100 meters deep. They will be commercially available in five years time and just one of them could power up 200 homes.

Dance To Save The World!
Have you ever thought of the energy that you loose every night you dance at the clubs? What if all this energy could be stored somehow and been recycled?
Maybe you have not heard of the environmentally sustainable dance clubs. Any club could be self sufficient if it was designed or altered with eco-friendly techniques.
The most impressive of all is the Dance floor, where every step of yours on the floor that consists of power generating blocks, generates electricity power.
The more you dance the more power for your favorite club to operate
There will be many eco dance floors installed across the Europe. The Sustainable Dance club initiation is supported by the Club4Climate organization that is opening the first floor-generator club in Britain soon.

Brazilian Invents Light Bulb That Does Not Need Electricity
Some times luck or an accident can create the next breakthrough in science and change our life’s. A guy in Brazil took an empty plastic bottle, filled it with water and a bit of Clorox (Bleach) and left it under the sun. The sun caused a chemical reaction to the compound and the bottle turned into a 60 watt strong light bulb.

OLED Passports By Samsung

Samsung SDI and Bundesdruckerei from Germany, have designed a passport with a 700 ?m polycarbonate data page. This new travel document will feature an active matrix bendable 300 ?m OLED display which will show airport officials info and pictures related to the passport holder.
The ePassport does generate concerns that it can be hacked regardless of Samsung’s claims that its is completely manipulation-proof. This passport will not run with batteries but will work buy induction generated electricity from the airports check point.
