Computers Are Now Allowed In Cuba

Today I learned two things. First the new Cuban president allows his citizens to have electronic equipment and second is that till now it was not allowed. Only companies and foreigners were allowed to have a TV and a computer. All DVD’s were held in customs.

The new president made this move, according to Reuters, to bring his people closer to him. Every Cuban can now own a Plasma TV and if they survive the cultural shock then they can try buying a computer.

To get an Air Condition they need to wait a bit due to the high demand in electricity.

Saving Private Ryan - AGAIN

I don’t thing there is anyone out there that does not remember the scene at Omaha beach from the WWII movie “Saving Private Ryan”. It is one of the most well remembered scene of modern cinema and it was as close to the real thing when in 1944 the allied forces stepped in Europe to fight Hitler’s Nazi’s.

Now a group of friends decided to recreate this scene with the aid of CGI.

The end product? Just have a look:
