Jason Krugman, Stella Kim and Ben Chao have created a set of huge testicles, hung from the ceiling, that react to human touch. The Teste Touch, as it is called, has a built-in temperature sensor that responds to heat as real testicles do. When it comes in contact with something cold the “balls” shrink upwards and when heat is applied to them they simply go downwards.

Additional feature to this New York University exhibition item (ITP showcase) is the tickling sensation in them. When tickled or touched the sac moves and produces giggles.

You might be aware that penguins all gather up in a huge penguin-mass in order to stay warm and most importantly keep their eggs from freezing. Daily Mail has an amazing collection of photos from a moment like this where thousand of penguins have gathered up close to each other in order to withstand the -15 Celsius.

Green Thing is a community in England that is trying to make it fun for all of us to become a bit more eco-friendly. Every month they assign people a different task that they need to accomplish.

This month’s mission? Lower the temperature of your boiler and use your own body heat to get warm :)

To promote their idea they created this rather odd video (xxx)

Lightning Show That Lasts Half a Year

catatumbo

Even the worse storm you have been is no match for this area, where the Catatumbo river merges with lake Maracaibo, in Venezuela.

Half the year and for 10 hours each night a constant lightning show takes place and none knows why. An average of 5 lightnings per minute hit the area and scientists guess that it may be due to the cold air from the Andes meeting the warm air from the river. The methane that also rises from the ground is also to blame but I am not sure how that affects the creation of lightings

Have a look at the video and try to think how it is to have this truly amazing show for 10 hours each night for half a year :)

Am sure we all remember (obviously from the movie) the last minutes of the Titanic where the passengers started to slide one by one towards the vast cold ocean. Am sure this was a unique and vivid experience is hard to forget if you live to tell the tale.

The Titanic Adventure Slide? is here to help you experience how it must have been like for the Titanic passengers. It costs $10,000 (depending on the size you want) to buy this inflatable aft of the Titanic but this is the safest way to recreate Jack’s and Rose’s last moments with your friends. If you are lucky you might catch a glimpse of it in some park, hence you will save the $10,000. Is this concept a bit spooky or is it my idea? :)

You can buy it from here. If you want to see it from the comfort of your home then have a look at the following video.
