Chase - The Cat With No Face

Chase is a 3 years cat. When she was 3-6 weeks old, in June 2005, she was hit by a car and left in the road. After a couple of days a young man brought Chase to the Chevy Chase Animal Clinic where Melissa Smith took care of her.
Chase ended up having a back leg amputated and over the summer her nose, eyelids, and skin from her face sloughed off from the trauma of the accident. After two unsuccessful plastic surgeries Chase has to get use of living looking different than the other kitties. Chase is not in any pain and I can say that although scary at first time, if you read her blog, you’ll see that she is adorable
Cat Cooked And Eaten In Facebook

Two students from the School of Journalism in Denmark got banned from Facebook after cooking and eating a cat. They uploaded about 30 photos of their “experiment” and tried to make a point that in order to defend animal rights, no exceptions can be made.
They wanted to express their dislike towards the endless slaughter of pigs, cows and chickens. Their experiment failed as everybody turned against them, maybe their recipe, called Litter Box, had something to do with it.

“When the cat’s away, the mice will play”…at least that what the old proverb used to say till now.
Geneticists have managed to find and remove the fear gene from mice. This means that the “new” mice will no longer be afraid of cats as we can see from the video below.
