As i guess from the event’s description, the November 22th will be the day that youtube live streaming will begin. I think it is obvious, read . Youtube Live on November 22th :)

Google and prof Motwani replies to the "3rd founder"

As you may already know the news about Hubert Chang claiming that he is the "3rd Google Founder" are all over the web the last 24h hours. The majority of the commenters pointed that this (if it was true) was a decision made by him and there was not a reason for those videos.

TechCrunch contacted Google and professor Rajeev Motwani  (the two parts that were mentioned in Chang’s story)

The first reply was a (bit uncleared) answer by a Google spokesperson

Though many people were involved with Google in its early days, it has been well-documented over the past decade that Larry Page and Sergey Brin founded the company in September 1998.

After that TechCrunched received an answer by prof Motwani

To the best of my knowledge, his claims about being a founder of Google, coming up with the name and/or the business plan etc, are completely unfounded in reality. I am sure I would have noticed a third founder, if one existed, since I was working closely with Larry and Sergey at Stanford the time.

I do recall receiving a couple of emails from Hubert Chang in 1997 or 1998. Its been such a long time that I don’t have any recollection of their contents but it’s probable I shared those emails with Larry and Sergey. In any case, by that time the basic idea of PageRank was already in place and there was a clear intent of building a company around this. I am pretty certain that none of the three of us actually met with Hubert Chang during that time period.

Finally Google re-replied with a more detailed answer

There is no substance to Hubert Chang’s claims - he had no involvement in the creation of Google. Neither Larry or Sergey have any recollection of meeting him - however, given the number of people they’ve met in the last decade it’s impossible to say categorically that they never have. Rajeev Motwani, the Professor and Director of Graduate Studies at Stanford, believes he may have shared some emails from Mr. Chang with Larry and Sergey in 1997 or 1998. But in any case PageRank had already been developed by that time, and Larry and Sergey had already decided to start Google

Shocking development? Hubert Chang - The third Google guy?

Until know we knew the whole story behind Google’s success. We know everything about Larry Page and Sergey Brin. BUT. A new video appeared a coupe of hours ago claiming that there is a third person behind the Google creation. Hubert Chang is the guy that claims he solved many of the development problems , the one who came up with tha pagerank solution.

As he mentions, his father’s wish to complete his studies (PHd) kept him away from Google’s success as his emails to Larry Page and Sergey Brin were never answered

Lafies and gentlemen, here are the shocking videos. If he is right or not, is your call

One of the most interesting features of Pleo, the cute robot dinosaur, is the ability of upgrating through personality firmwares provided by Ugobe.

The latest personality update brings confusion to the world, as it transforms our little friend into a monster

Ugobe descibes it as

Pleosaurus shows his wild side and does his best impersonation of Godzilla! Send your dino on a rampage crushing everything in the way and blowing fire at obstacles. See if you can figure out how to trigger a dramatic death sequence!

Well… you have to see that :)
