Shocking development? Hubert Chang - The third Google guy?

Until know we knew the whole story behind Google’s success. We know everything about Larry Page and Sergey Brin. BUT. A new video appeared a coupe of hours ago claiming that there is a third person behind the Google creation. Hubert Chang is the guy that claims he solved many of the development problems , the one who came up with tha pagerank solution.
As he mentions, his father’s wish to complete his studies (PHd) kept him away from Google’s success as his emails to Larry Page and Sergey Brin were never answered

I am not sure he is telling the truth but if he is it is his fault that left google. Billion $$$ are much better than a PhD

Ok, so who cares. Even if he is telling the truth and he “helped a bit” in the early stages he made a decision to not put his name on any legal documents or continue putting in any effort on the project so it’s his loss. There is so much more than an some initial planning and brainstorming to growing any business and making it succesfull, no less one of the world largest businesses. The other two guys knew that and kept at it when he abandoned it for something else. Must be a tough pill to swallow now when looking back but he only has himself to blame and no reason to make this video whining about it.

Even though the algorithm Chang said he developed is the crucial engine of google, he did not put his name on it, and that’s just tough luck, even though those two russians should acknowledge Chang’s contribution in some way. So, be careful next time you are working with Russians, be very careful.

Sounds like truth, but he need to be angry to himself. If he decline the offer and the company was created only from Lary and Sergey, sorry but who is he to claim anything.
There are moments in everybody’s life when he miss the great change and nothing can be done. Forget and go ahead. This is the only chance to survive.

Being a mamma’s boy or daddy’s boy will only get you so far.
At least now he has a PhD. He shouldn’t complain. It was his choice to walk away from a risky but in hindsight lucrative opportunity. Bad choice. But it’s nobody’s fault but his own.
