Finally, Google Chrome browser webpage is online and you can download the first browser by Google. The browser combines a minimal design with sophisticated technology to make the web faster, safer, and easier.

Some of the features are  One box for everything, New Tab page, Application shortcuts, Dynamic tabs, Crash control, Incognito mode, Safe browsing, Instant bookmarks, Importing settings, Simpler downloads, Download now

You can download Chrome Browser here (http://gears.google.com/chrome) at more than 30 languages!

UPDATE 1Although it seems that you can download it, when you proceed to the eula acceptance the download button is not working. I will keep you informed asap i find a working download link

UPDATE 2Google has just dissabled the above url. Maybe they are working on it right now and we’ll soon get the good stuff :)

UPDATE 3The videos may be in private now but screenshots of them are still available in clear mode. I managed to save only 2 videos url before google disappeared them so here are the screenshots (If you have the other urls pls comment)

if you have the ids of the other videos just go to http://img.youtube.com/vi/VIDEOID/0.jpg

also for every video there are 3 smaller screenshots (1,2,3 jpg)

UPDATE 5 A search for “google chrome help” at google groups search reveals that there are at least two help groups, one in english and the other in japanese.

google-chrome-help-newsgroups-2

Apparently  both are now dead. THe interesting part is that at the english one there are 6 members and at the japanese one the last message was 3 days ago. Seriously, why every “evidence” is now dead? :)

The supposed urls are http://groups.google.com/group/google-chrome-help and http://groups.google.com/group/google-chrome-help-jp?hl=en&lnk=srg

UPDATE 6 gChrome.com - I checked all the possible combinations and it seems that gchrome.com is the official  Chrome page!

gchrome-com-google-chrome-browser

The has the ?powered by google? at the footer and an  ?i?m feeling lucky? on the top . Also there is a video from the Hong Kong department of Google.

The domain was registered on 20-Nov-07 but under a private registration.

Well, stay tuned at gchrome.com and we?ll figure out if this is the one :)

there are so many advantages and features with Chrome, such as it’s speed, for example; now if only they would take care it’s quirky cookie management…
