Batman Dark Knight Advert Campaign
The day that the new Batman movie, the Dark Knight, will be released is approaching fast and Warner is making sure that we don’t forget about it.
The most impressive part of this advert campaign is… the creation of the entire world of Batman on the Internet using dozens of fake websites that are related to the movie.
The Acme Security Systems, the Gotham Cab company, the Gotham Cable News, Gotham City Bank, and various other services/companies that appear in teh movie have their own website and they were set up for advertising the movie.
The spooky part of this campaign is Gina Tortericci’s webpage with messages from her friends etc and it looks so real that if someone was not aware who she is, he would think that she is really a person who lost their life.
