Volkswagen goes ahead in the lead for the most fuel efficient car. They resurrected a 6 year old project, called One-Liter Car, that is able to achieve up to 235mpg. To bring things into perspective an ordinary family size car, can do 30-40mpg. This is good news for the consumers, especially now that oil prices continue to rise for no reason.
