Doctors in San Diego, California, have managed to perform a non-invasive appendectomy. This was accomplished by inserting a flexible tube inside a persons mouth and down its stomach. A cut was then made to access the appendix. The appendix is then cut off, bagged and extracted via the mouth. The only side effect is a sore throat!
