Wednesday, May 7, 2008 5:08

China Mobile built an Internet Cafe at elevation of 17,060 ft (5,200 m) in Mount Everest in order to offer Internet communication to Olympic torch relay team.
Currently the Internet Cafe has about 40-50 visitors per day and China Mobile has enough bandwidth dedicated to this facility that it is supposed to be the highest Internet Cafe in the world

So next time you find yourself on Everest looking for an Internet Connection remember this post by Weberence and try to find the base camp where the Internet Cafe is
