5.2 Magnitude Earthquake Hits The UK

On the 27th of February, at 00:56 (GMT) an earthquake of a 5.2 magnitude hit 46 km South of Kingston upon hull according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre. The exact epicenter was near Market Rasen in Lincolnshire. This comes as a surprise as it has been 25 years since the last big earthquake in the region. Some structural damages and cracks and injuries that occurred from fallen objects were reported. The earthquake was felt across north England and North Wales.
