Writers Guild Ends Strick: Which TV Shows Will Air and Which Will Not

The Writers Guild of America strike ended and Hollywood will go now back to producing all those wonderful TV shows. It seems that the writers did win the battle after 3 months which cost the movie industry approximately 2 billion dollars.  Σήμερα έληξε και επίσημα η απεργία των σεναριογράφων του Hollywood. The consequences of the strike though will be pretty soon made apparent as there is not much time for this season.

Lets see what will happen with the most popular of the TV shows according to the information that goes around (this is quite likely to change)

The 7th season is postponed till January 2009

Battlestar Galactica
On the 4th of April the shooting of the 10 episodes of the last season will air. The last 10 will be shot some time in March and its is not sure when they will air

Bionic Woman
Probably canceled and no new episodes are expected.

Bones
Four episodes where filmed before the strike and it is not yet known if they will shoot more for this season

Chuck
No episode till Autumn

CSI
About 4 to 8 episodes will air from March till May. Same goes with CSI: Miami and CSI: NY

Desperate Housewives
Four to seven new episodes to air from April till May

Ghost Whisperer
Four to seven new episodes to air from April till May

Heroes
No episode is expected till Autumn

House
Four to six new episodes to air from April till May

Jericho
They already have seven episodes filmed and no more are expected for this season

Journeyman
Show is probably canceled

Lost
Thankfully there are 6 episodes already filmed before the strike and 5 more are planned

My Name Is Earl
About 8 to 10 episodes are expected to air between April till May.

Nip/Tuck
On the 19th of February season 5 will be completed and during summer the new shooting will start for season 6.

Numbers
Five to nine episodes will air between March and May

Prison Break
Two episodes were filmed before the strike. No news yet for more

Samantha Who?
Three episodes are already filmed and 3 more are expected

Scrubs
Four episodes are filmed and four more are expected to be filmed and not to air but instead included in the DVD

Smallville
Four episodes are filmed and five more are expected

Supernatural
Two episodes are filmed and four-five more are expected

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles
Four episodes are filmed but there are not future plans

Two and a Half Men
Five to nine episodes will be filmed for March till May

Ugly Betty
Four to seven episodes will be filmed for April - May
