3rd Greek Earthquake in 30 days!

On the 4th of February, at 22:25, a new earthquake, the third in the last 30 days took place near the city of Patra. The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre gave an earthquake reading of 4.7 in the Richter scale and a location/epicenter of 14 km South East of Patra. No casualties were reported only minor damages inside houses from items falling. The earthquake was reported to be large and with long duration.

 

Update: The Geodynamic Institute of Athens states that the earthquake had a much larger magnitude of 5.4 in the Richter scale.

Second Update: Another shock of magnitude 5.5 was reported at ~00:30 (5th of February) in the same region. This continuous activity has grown concern among the residents of the affected area.
