A couple of days ago I was writing about Qtrax, a P2P service that announced a deal with the 4 major record companies for freely distributing songs, legally, over the Internet.

This revolution apparently scared many people. The record companies now deny ever making such a deal. Qtrax people are rushing to say that they are not stupid and rumor has it that they do have such a deal with the music industry.

In the download page of Qtrax it seems that it is available (beta version) but I haven’t managed to download it yet
