60Frames and its Internet series

We have seen large TV networks to place TV series online and we have seen TV viewers to place their own videos online. 60frames though is doing something unique. It decided to publish online its own creations (TV series) having as a “motive” several million dollars from various investors who believed in it.
Of course we are not going to see Prison Break or Lost. The series of 60frames are for the time being relatively cheap productions (costing about $10,000 per episode, featuring young and unknown actors. The company has already signed deals with various Internet video services like Youtube and myspace to help distribute these episodes.
Even though 60Frames plans to make over 50 series, now only 7 are available:
Eric is a librarian who is a bit odd and falls in love with a foreigner.
A series that is a parody of famous TV and cinema moments.
Gilf is a 37 year old grandma that stirs up things in the neighborhood
A reality that annoys celebrities
A show about fashion
What really happens behind the cockpit door of the Mile High Airlines
Three 20 year olds from New Jersey go for vacations and look for true love.
As I mentioned above these are cheap productions so don’t expect a lot. If you want to learn more info go here.
