Dimitris, you are judging by adult standards. They might be silly for us, yes, but maybe they are funny to the young children.
Now, I do not know about the band. They might have formed it by their own (I mean these three guys by themselves) and then ask for the songs. Famous? Come on...I don't think that they take this kind of career seriously. It would be bad if they did. Unless they want to open a kindergarden! ;)

Nikolas, you are right. Singing a song to a child doesn't require talent but feeling and emotions. I didn't imply otherwise. My firm objection on the 3 mazoo songs is that they're utterly pointless and silly, and that's putting it mildly. Unless Bedouins and belly dancing are an important part of preschool education. I applaud the rest of the team's effort that sing about colors, team play, friendship. It's remarkable.
The singers don't bother me talent-wise, you're wrong. It's their aspiration to become famous through a show that began with children singing that annoys me. Couldn't they have formed Mazoo and the Zoo with children?

DimitrisK, I thing that you are exaggerating. Every song that we have singed since our childhood age has adult innuendos. Besides, having listened to those three Mazoo songs, I can say that nothing bad, or something that is not already known to the children is implied in the lyrics. And lastly, I do not believe that children should live behind a glass case or listen to Mozart and Bach exclusively.
As far as the singers are concerned, they may not be real talents of course. But was your mother that used to sing to you a real talent? Why do you condemn their effort to bring joy to the young children? And I assume that you don't believe that they should be doing this for free!

I agree with you DimitrisK, especially about the "adult innuendos" bit. I am also glad to see that people with opinion and intelligence interact and contribute/comment. I am looking forward to see you again at this website

anonimos, I agree on the fact that these "songs" may have gained enough popularity to surpass the "Je t'aime" show "hits". Frankly, I couldn't care less whether it's quality music or trash like the 80% of Greek TV nowadays. Either way, what you watch on TV is clearly up to you and in any case, the remote has an off switch. But what I detest, is individuals masquerading behind children's shows, to try and promote themselves as singers or artists, singing lyrics with adult innuendos. The "performers" in this show are children and not wannabe talents.

DimitrisK, Yes it is certainly not going to win any Grammy or get to sell 1,000,000 copies, but everywhere I go I hear their songs being talked about (in a positive way) by adults, not kids as was intended. The songs even ended up in people's mobile phones as ring tones!
So I am led to believe that its like the "Crazy frog", something without a artistic essence that has made people wanting to listen to it.

Hi,
The "craze" as you say, is only in the "band's" mind. These 3 characters saw an opportunity to proclaim themselves a band through a kid's weekend show and are trying to become famous in a way similar to "Dreamshow", "So you think you can dance", "Greece you've got talent" and so on.
Silly choreography and stupid lyrics make up these so called hits. Our children don't need a surplus of trash.
It's supposed to be a kid's show people, GET A GRIP!!
