Wikia search alpha version - it still needs a lot of work

Posted by Weberence in News, Technology on 01 8th, 2008 | no responses

Wikia is born and its a new search engine, by Mr. Jimmy Wales (founder of Wikipedia). So I thought of having a look at it. So as every blogger would do, I typed internetakias and waited to see the result.

wikia-search

wikia-results-1

2 results came out only, where as the same search in Google gives us:

wikia-results-2

So as you understand as a matter of pride I will not use this new search engine :)

Wikia search is still in alpha version which means that there is a lot to do until it manages to creep into our life’s (if ever). Till then I will remain a Google fan. When wikia matures enough, let me know :)
