2007: One year full of garbage
Not sure if its a nice sight to see today as its not very festive 
. Ari Derfel decided last year not to through any garbage from his house for one whole year so he can see how much he is producing (he must be very bored and single, no wife/girlfriend would allow this to ever happen).
He managed to fill his entire house with boxes full…of garbage and he must be relieved to see it all gone now that his strange project is over . In his blog he describes why he went through all this trouble and he points to us which are his favorite garbage and also the ones that embarrass him.
One of his favorite garbage is a bag from Hawaii where as one of the things he is not so fond of are his used condoms (I am still confident he is single or his partner is VERY supportive of his ideas).
On that page he specifies that most of the garbage originated from food wrappers! It may sound a bit discusting but if you consider that Earth is our home that we all need to do this experiment so we can understand how much we pollute it.
