Google published their annual list with the most popular searched topics for the past year. According to it the top 10 most searched topics for 2007 were:

Death and life

Google also published lists of other “interesting (from a physcological point of view) topics. The top searched death was that of Anna Nicole Smith. From the top 10 most popular 7 were just rumors such as the death of Fidel Castro, Michael Jackson and Travis Barker.

Law Suits

The search for law suits was another one of Zeitgeist’s favorit lists. Law suits involving Borat were the most interesting followed by facebook, iphone and mcdonalds.

TV Series

The battle for TV series is won by Heroes closely followed by Lost , House MD and 24

Movies

First movie in searches came Transformers, second were the 300 and third The Simpsons movie

Lyrics

Rihanna’s Umbrella lyrics were the most Googled followed by soulja boy, bubbly, paramone and lil wayne

Ringtones

Ringtones: 1st mosquito, 2nd 24 and 3rd The office.

Recipes

At the top of the recipe searches is master cleanse a lemonade that makes you loose weight! Ratatouille follows second thanks to the movie (with the same name) that featured a little rat called Remi that wanted to become a great chef

Diet

Steadily on number 1 of the diet searches is weight watchers followed by Jenny Craig, volumetrics, slim fast and Atkins.

Exercise

Celebrity exercise pilates came at No 1 followed by bikram yoga

Who, what, where

Who is God? What is Love, How to kiss? were the top philosophical questions for 2007
