Ranch for sale next to a Prada store

Am not sure if Prada customers know that their favorite brand has opened a store in a small town called Marfa in Texas. This place is far away from the city lights and glamor…and civilization in general. Then why is there a Prada store there?

The truth is that this building may appear to be a Prada store but in reality it is just and advert. All products on display are still in their place, from 2005 when the “store” opened, since this was never meant to work as a real store (so don’t expect to find the Prada mobile phone there). Even of it did I am not sure how many Prada customers are in this small town.
This display is the work of two German designers, Michael Elmgreen and Ingar Dragset who stated that Prada’s minimalistic design in relation to the vast ranch behind it, created an interesting visual contrast.
